    Mid Europa Partners (“Mid Europa”) announced today that it has completed its tender offer to purchase any and all of the outstanding ordinary shares, par value €0.01 per share (“Invitel Shares”), and any and all of the American Depositary Shares, each representing one Invitel Share (“Invitel ADSs”), of Invitel Holdings A/S (“Invitel”) (NYSE Amex: IHO)

    SEATTLE, Wash., January 27, 2009 – Hungarian Telephone and Cable Corp. (NYSE ALTERNEXT U.S.: HTC) announced today that it has set February 2, 2009 as its record date to determine the stockholders eligible to vote at a special meeting of stockholders at which stockholders will consider a proposal to approve a corporate reorganization to change HTCC’s place of incorporation from Delaware to Denmark.
